ERL says as of Dec 7th scheduled for build week of Dec 5th
Estimated Delivery of Dec 23rd.
What are the next ERL messages I can expect....I check on it every day...ugghh the wait is killing me. :bang: :bang:

Well mine was the delivery of the 22nd and now its the 31st so I hope yours doesnt do that as well. I think after that message it will tell you your unit is built and the estamated delivery date. Then it tells you when its on the ramp (waiting for rail car) then when its shipped and then again when its back on the ramp...im guessing thats when its waiting for the truck to bring it to the dealer. I am not positive about it tho.
Get your VIN# and you can post on blueovalforums and a guy there can give a few more tidbits of info.

Today ERL said "locked in for production week of 12/12 with ETA of 1-1-06. If true I might be the first TMS member to have a GT delivered in 2006! Dealer probably closed that day, have to check.

I picked up the car the next day. (I just got all of the dates on my order and I'll post them here).
In regard to your ETA changing...I went through the same thing...one day I get the message 'ETA week of December 25' then a couple days later it was 'ETA week of January 3rd', and the car arrived in between those dates.

Well my buddys car was in yesterday....he has a slightly suck situation as well. His truck he was selling for the downpayment...the tranny went out 
So he has to try to get someone to loan him the DP$ until his is fixed. He thinks he might be able to swing it today....geezz I hope so! He came by in it for a few min and boy is it sweet. Only thing is he ordered it WITHOUT the fin and it has one! We checked the vin and all...its his car but made wrong. They will swap his trunk with a V6.

Well my friend is going to pick up his car this morning....I knew he would get it before me....but darn now that he really did it stinks

Mine kept saying the same thing about the week of build etc...then today it popped up with a new message. It said that it has been shipped with an estimated arrival of December 15th. SWWEEEETT.
I guess I better knock on wood, though....hopefully nothing gets delayed.

You rat...mine didnt get built I called ERL today and nothing changed. Also I asked on blueoval and there was nothing...but it was like sat morning I got that message. So maybe the erl isnt updated and it got builr over the weekend. Do they build 7 days a week?

I checked ERL this morning, it still said "shceduled to be built week of 12/9" Not sure when that updates.
Atleast you get to drive your friend's some. I had a 1 mile test drive in a friend's car. That's what locked my decision in to get one. he has since traded his in. :-(. No more test drives for me.

Well maybe there is still hope.
Yeah we also installed some MAC exhaust yesterday...thing sounds so much better now. I got to drive and ride in it a bunch yesterday!

What other stuff you got?
I like the sound of the mac's but that is the first exhaust I have heard in person on the 05. I think I am going to give the frpp ones a try because they have 4" tips like the macs. I think it looks good with big-ol-tips like that. I wouldnt ming if they were louder than the macs as well. I am planning on LT's and a off road H as well so I dont know hoe it will sound after all that.

X-mas wishlist... BFG KDW2 tires, Steeda rear springs,adjustable panhard bar, catback(which one ???). Holding out on a tuner, might go with the saleen SC.
FRPP was one exhaust I was considering, I have the Magnaflows on my 04 Cobra and I like it, but I think I want to try something differant .

I have the 18x9 chrome bullits but still need some rubber. I cant figgure out what size/brand I want. I was thinking originaly 255/45 on the front and 285/40 on the back but im not sure if I can mount a 285 on a 9" rim...it calls for a 9.5 but I have heard that the .5 isnt that big of a deal. I also dont know how I feel about not being able to rotate the tires. So now im trying to find a 275/40 I like for all 4. I was going to go bfg but they dont make that size in the kdw2. What size you putting on yours?
The reast im about to pick up is either the C&L or the WSM intake with tuner maybe JBA LT and or H pipe with the frrp's. I like the CDC ducktail with the 3rd brake light delete and possibly the steeda cowl hood. I also already have the eibach prokit. There are more things im getting right away but I have to sit donw and see what I want and how much $ I will have. Should be a good start if I ever get the darn thing

I thought about going 275s but they cost around 50-60 more per tire. and I'd like more sidewall than the KDW 275s provide.
I've thought about gears also, but I'll wait to see if I supercharge. I have installed alot of gear sets in mustangs. The FRPPs definately are quiet and usually no shimming or adjustments needed.

Yeah thats because the kdw's in 275 are only 35...I am looking for 275/40. Good year f1's are like that but they are expensive. Falkin has some in this size as well but they are not the best tire...so im still looking as of now.
I am going to go FI one day but when I do I will swap my gears back...it will be some time before I do it so I want to enjoy the gears now. This will be the first time for gears...actualy first time for anything other than a FWD honda or acura I have come to the dark side muahahahaha
So on the 06 GT....4.30 or 4.10 IYO
