in the mustang cinvertibles, is the back window plastic or glass? thanks guys

I had a 99 vert and it was glass... always amazed me seeing glass in the stangs and the BMW's and Benz's still had cheapo plastic crap

The way it folds there is a seam at the top of the glass and bottom . The glass panel just folds right on down.

the top folds in 3 spots with the largest section being where the glass would lay flat. That's why you loose about half your trunk space with a vert

thanks guys! the glass looks alot classier than plastic ever can...i saw it on a PORSHE the other day and it made me wonder about the stang

The final word is that we have no final word from Ford on that yet.

What do we really have a final word on .. that there is an 05 mustang, and thats about it.

I would guess the vert will have a glass blacklight. Ford usually uses glass in them. One of things I have always liked about their verts.

Looks like glass to me. Plastic doesn't hold it's shape that well, nor does it reflect that well.

Of course they are glass. Ford is cheap but not that cheap.

Ya know ya'll might not beleive this but i was thinking the same thing, maybe its just been the blue guy that always intimidated me and not you! anyways back to the topic at hand! B)
