Two weeks ago during a storm, a tree branch falls on my hood. 1800,00 (100.00 deductable) and two weeks later i get the car back (last thursday). Sunday morning some rich yuppie guy in his land yacht with a big 33" tire on the back pulls out of his parking spot at Safeway and ......wipes out my whole front end, 9000.00 worth, I'm sick.

Man that really sucks. So sorry about your baby. Hope you are okay, other than rightfully po'd. Maybe you should get her fixed up and sell her. I think she might be jinxed now.

I'm saddened to hear about your latest incident. I hope the car is again fixable to your satisfaction. I've had a series of things like this happen in the past to other cars, but it never happens to one you don't really care about. It only happens to your pride and joy.

OUCH!
Some good luck has to come along soon after such a string of bad luck. How in the world did the guy do 9K worth of damage? make sure you get some money for diminished value in that settlement somewhere.

Holy, good luck and hang in there, I know it is very frustrating.
My car was rear-ended 1 month after having it, on the way to the shop to have the bumper replaced, a lady in a Honda Element rear-ends me again. Total damage $1200.00.
I get the car back, about two weeks later, I go to the hospital to visit a friend and when I come out of the hospital, I find that my car has been hit in the rear, again. $670.00 to fix.
Two weeks later on November 1st, on my way back to work from lunch, I get rear ended, but this time I also get hit on the passenger side. $7000.00 worth of damage. I am actually going to pick up my car today, almost seven weeks later.
I just want to enjoy my car, but it seems like there are too many people out there that should not be driving. Granted the last accident was truly an accident, but darn.
Although, I am grateful since I have not been hurt on any of the accidents.
Hang in there.

How it came to 9k? i don't know, but he smaked me pretty good. Another 6" and it would have sent my grill into my engine. It even craked both corners of my whindshield. I think this guy was in a big hurry to get to Starbucks, it was all i could do, to keep from putting a choke hold on him (and i'm an easy going guy).

I hope that latest thing is the last "event" you have to deal with, you've had more than your share for sure.
Im only semi-psychotic (twitch twitch) about where I park mine, but if the jerks are gonna get you, I don't think there's anything we can do to prevent it.

That's a bummer.
At least yuppies usually have insurance. I've be smacked twice now in my little commuter car (both times other drivers fault) and neither driver had insurance - stupid hippies. :bang:
My freakin' insurance had to pick up the tab ($300 deductible for uninsured motorist each time paid for out of my pocket).
Tried to sue them, but both drivers gave false addresses to the police. Not worth the effort to recover $600 of my money. That's life for ya - beating you down at every turn.
