I am finally in the elite club of my car having a build date , my dealer called this afternoon and said it schedualed to build on March 14.... and would call back when he had more info....Whoo hoo!!

Congrats! All I can say is the closer it gets, the more you anticipate it... I've been there and know.

My latest status is "as of March 4, your unit is released from the foreign assembly plant." I don't even know what that means, but it sounds like the car has been built!

 

Congrads to you too!! sounds like yours may be on its way to you soon...... got any mods planned for it? I'm going to stripe and going with a hood with scoop as soon as I find one that I like.....

Thanks! I don't think I'll do any mods, at least nothing major. The yellow is bold enough without stripes or add-on body parts.

I might do some minor mods like window tint, shift ****, and dead pedal, but to be honest, I'm happy with my stock 95 GT, and I'll likely be happy with a stock '05 as well.

Are you thinking about vinyl stripes or painted? The factory stripes or custom?

 

We are scheduled for the week of March 14 also. The wait is getting harder. I think about it every minute!!!! :bang:
