I am a Mustang owner

This seemed like it took forever and I hit every single bump in the road getting to this point. I'll spare you the boring details.

Got word Wednesday that my car was in and finalized all the paperwork and trade-in today. Drove to the dealer and picked her up. I am in awe. I've wanted one since at least '89 but never could afford it. She's all mine now baby !!!! :banana :

it's dark and these are the best I could get while there was still daylight. I'll add more after the Zaino

the spoiler delete shot.

I just can't stop looking at it. When I saw the Vista Blue in person for the first time I fell in love. It's gonna take awhile to get this stupid grin off my face.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I really appreciate it. I'd stick around but I have this incredible urge to go drive somewhere.

The Vista Blue and those wheels look great! It is a fun car - I've already put 1300 miles on mine in 3 weeks (600 of those were from a trip to the Woodward Dream Cruise last weekend)!!

Very nice! That blue is awesome!

So what is the agreed upon "break-in" period with these cars?

Breaking-in Your Vehicle

BREAKING-IN YOUR VEHICLE

Your vehicle does not need an extensive break-in. Try not to drive continuously at the same speed for the first 1,000 miles (1,600 km) of new vehicle operation. Vary your speed frequently in order to give the moving parts a chance to break in.

Do not add friction modifier compounds or special break-in oils during the first few thousand miles (kilometers) of operation, since these additives may prevent piston ring seating. See Engine oil in the Maintenance and Specifications chapter for more information on oil usage.

Looks great! I know what it feels like to wait... I had a 1 month and 1 day quality hold after waiting 2 months already... it was murder!!

Can I ask a question, though? I'm just curious why some people order their cars with the spoiler delete. I always thought it looked bare back there without the wing, and that the wing "made" the car.

This is just my opinion, of course, and that's why I'm asking... so I can understand better.

Once reason I can think of would be if you wanted an aftermarket wing like a ducktail... and you didn't want the stock holes to fill.

EDIT: Just saw the ducktail wing on your mod list.

Myself, I have tried to make mine look less like it goes fast. The cops around here (as Dustin can attest ) have some funny attitudes and I don't enjoy meeting with them as much as he does.
I also find it easier to clean without the wing. I have a wing on my slow car and it is a pain to wax and clean around. I might someday put a small ducktail on, but I haven't found one I like yet.
IMO it gives the car a smoother look, which is what I am going for.
For me, the engine and the cornering "make" the car.

I can understand that. As far as "making" the car... I meant appearance-wise, not performance.
