As long as the plate doesn't read "TYPE-R", you're okay in my book.

It's ok, we're in the same boat. I have 05 PONY on the plates of my 97' Jeep. I get the weirdest looks and questioned all the time. =)

I can't wait to prove to them that I'm not a crazy idiot.

One more thing, would "PONYEXPRS" sound gay. I don't have a novelty plate and probably never will, I was just tossing the idea around. :notnice:

No, that's pretty funny though. Yeah, I guess people could get that impression. Forget it! I don't want people to think I'm a psycho postman with a death machine sitting under him.

Yep, my own money too. It's my hobby and my toy and the same reason I have one on my 66. Are you going to put one on yours?

I think it would be more disturbing if you had a plate "MYLumina"

Ya picking a good plate is always a hard choice becuase you never know if people will always understand it...my old math teacher had a plate that said "MY QT 314" hence...my cuity pie. Well my car does not go back till the 06 model year so i got some time to brain storm. but i love making people question my plates.

I love trying to figur out custom plates, but I admit, I wouldn't have gotten that one at a stoplight.

Was going to order my plate so I would be sure to get the one I want but didn't want to put a plate that said 05 GT or 05 Stang on the back of my 2000 V-6 because people might think I'm crazy. Guess if you can put that on a Lumina.....

Had a licence plate frame made at the mall that states "Plate reserved for my next car"
That's what I'd do. But in the meantime, pray you don't get laid off!

:nono: Take it easy. Look at a bunch of the classic cars that have plates with the year and model on them. Who know's, if he takes good enough care of his car, 20 years from now people will not know what the car really is if that plate wasn't there.

What is lame is when people get the front windshield stripe that says "Cavalier" or something.

I actually saw one on the front window that read:
WIND SHIELD

I thought it was hilarious! I don't know if the person just put it on there out of spite, or what, but it made my day.
