The year is 2007, I just finished paying the Mach 1 off and got my long awaited dream, a kick butt black Cobra, and I am in for a $30K debt for 5 years. 2 months later, a new '08 Bullitt is announced for production.

Goerge you forgot about the other option...trade cars not payments with a buddy of yours who happens to live just down the road and loves your Mach 1.
Not shure how this benifits you but it would make me happy.

BULLITT all the way! If I had a choice right now, either a 2004 Cobra or a used 2001 Bullitt, well i think you know the answer. Its all about owing a legend. Anyways how did you come up with the year 2008 for the next one?

Keep current Mach 1 and Bullitt.
In my theory, I always liked older stuff (including cars) than new. Why? Well, in your case, you have 2001 Mustang Bullitt. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 2001 only year when Ford offered Bullitt? So, you have a really rare Mustang (same thing with Mach 1) and I just don't see the reason why sell both of them.
For example, in my case I would rather take an '86 SVO (in good condition) than '04 GT. SVO is rare Mustang and Ford is not making them anymore.

George, forget about me, you're going to want that '08 Bullitt and it will be truer to the original that the one you have. So from your perspective, selling the Mach 1 (already sold one right?) and Bullitt (hey, you got your fun out of it, time to move on) might be the best move.

Male menapause?

[/b][/quote]No, I just think you're a freak. (like me)
How about you sell me the 01 Bullit now, and nobody gets hurt.
George keep the Bullitt get a new 05-06 Mach 1, 07 Cobra and then just go ahead and buy the 08 Bullitt out right. You know you can do it.
By the way have you seen the reactions to the thought of a new Bullitt over at http://www.imboc.com/phpBB/ a majority seemed to get nasty at the idea of a new Bullitt when I brought it up. I think with the new body style it would be great would love to have all 3 Bullitts.

We think alike! I've been thinking the Boss will be shown first too. Just from the "vibes" i've been getting back from Ford, i'm thinking a Boss 302 or Boss 281 will be here for 06. and Like you said 07 would be the Cobra, and 08 the Bullit or Mach 1.

(I'd have done the same thing
) The oldtimers over there are cool and friendly, but some of the newcomers think they are god's gift to mankind because they have a Bullitt. BTW, in case you didn't notice, I post there under "BULLITTS", because some jerk that doesn't ever post there took my world famous 1 BULLITT.
He should be castrated.

You wait for 2008 and ford never realeses another "BULLIT" car.
You wait and ford starts making major changes every 2 years like they did in the begining.
Ford realeses the bullit in 2008 but you died 1 month befor release.
Speculation is fun. But I wouldnt make plans on speculation.
I looked for the movie today, but I couldnt find it anywhere. I know I saw it somewhere a while back.I want to buy it.
