Just wondering how the owners of cloth GTs are liking theirs. I'm not really fan of leather (Texas sun), but all I've seen at the dealers so far is leather in the GTs. I must admit, its pretty darn comfortable.

I've felt, seen and sat in the V6 cloth, and how does that compare to the GT cloth?

I'm kinda torn now on deciding on leather (the look/feel) since I've test drove GTs with it, but at the same time, want to preserve several layers of epidermal on my backside.

Further? Is the bolstering or anything else with the seat different from the leather to cloth in the GT?

I don't know how the V6 cloth feels but I love my GT cloth. I can't really describe how it feels, its not soft but it's not rough. The leather wasn't an option for me, I'm just not a fan of burning my legs of wearing shorts in the summer.

Hey, does anybody have an actual pic of the GT cloth in parchment? I saw a pre-production one on the timeline, but I haven't seen anybody post a pic of the production GT parchment cloth......

Window tint and a windshield screen work wonders for leather seats and Texas sun. I've had several cars with leather and haven't had much of a problem with seat burns. Don't let it deter you if you want leather.

I think the GT and V6 cloth material is the same, except for the pattern in the seat back and cushion. I was suprised to find it not as breathable as I would have hoped.

The cloth vs leather decision was the most difficult I had related to the Mustang. I sat in several '04 Mustangs with different color leather and cloth interiors in August to see how they felt. There was no doubt that the leather was significantly hotter than the cloth. My '89 GT has cloth and it has held up very well (nearly 16 years now!), so I stuck with the cloth. It feels very good, although the seat overall isn't as comfortable as my '89 (yet!) The bolstering definitely isn't as good as that seat, but is better than most other cars I've been in. I don't feel like I'm moving around when taking turns fast.

I'm going with the cloth on my GT.
The bolstering, what little there is, is the same.
The cloth just seems to "grab" you better in the turns.

Robert,
Is that a good picture of the color (darness) of your seats?
I was thinking they were darker.
Might consider the tan interior. (white GT)
