When I call the ERL it still says as of JUly 27 your car is scheduled to be built the week of Aug 14. IT gives no dealer ETA either like I have seen some others mention.
Does anyone know how often it updates? Will it not update until the car is built?

Good question. I was wondering the same thing last night when I checked. Mine also is scheduled to be build the week of the 14th.... (as of the 27th)

does your say anything about a dealer ETA? I only have the order # to input and was wondering if I had the VIN if I would get more info.

 

When I call the ERL it says "As of June 27th your vehical was produced with an estimated date of delivery of July 11th" (still no car)and it has been this was since June 27th so I'm not sure when this thing up dates

No it does not say anything about a dealer ETA on the ERL.

My dealer told me that they should have a dealer ETA by the end of this week but I am not sure where they get that and if that will be reflected in the ERL or not. I'll let you know if I hear anything about an ETA on the ERL.

 

I know that the ERL status updates I have been getting occur at 8pm PST Tuesday through Friday. So for instance, at 8pm PST tonight I can call and get the info "As of August 7th...."

 

Wish mine would update nightly. MIne still says July 27, not that it will make the car get here any faster but it sure would make me feel good.

All the part boxes are starting to stack up, I need something to put them on

 

I am pretty interested about this too. As of this morning it was "as of Aug4th" the car is scheduled to be build the week of July 31st.

Even if it's done and on it way or whatever, just a little piece of mind would do me wonders.

 

Get this..... I just called again and this is what I was told....

As of August 15th ????? I am locked into production the week of August 14th with an dealer ETA of August 23rd!!!!!

First off, not sure why it said August 15th when it is only August 8th today..??

Second, I hope I can believe this because this would be GREAT news. I ordered it on July 24th and have an ETA of August 23rd!!! That is just about 1 month from order to delivery! Would that be a record?

I'm going to go call again and make sure I heard everything correctly. Yep, I did... and I repeated it several times... It says August 15th 2006.... Wierd...

I don't get the ETA part either.. I can't believe it could have an ETA the week after it's build week. Even if it was built on the 14th and arrived on the 25th that still doesn't seem long enough to ship it.

Maybe they are flying it out to me Ha. Ha.

It will be interesting to see what ETA the dealer quotes me at the end of this week.

 

Man. I am getting bent. You guys are getting your cars in like 4 weeks!!! It's been 5 weeks for me and I still haven't even been serialized... the humanity!! I'm about ready to tell Ford where to stick it and go buy a Challenger instead!

 

I would be calling your dealer and pronto. He has either sold the unit out from under you or your unit is on quality hold. Or the shipping is to the other side of the moon...

Excited about that. Is the ETA usually given as a week of? or is that the actual day it should be there?

 

My vehicle was ordered 12 July and build 04 Aug 2006.

I can not say with 100% certainty, but, when I spoke to my salesman yesterday, he told me my car was "invoiced 27 July" and they have one "invoiced 26 Jun" and they still have not received the vehicle. The salesman speculated that "sold" vehicles would be build and shipped first. I can only say what my experience and situation is. The list I saw had my vehicle as X-plan and all the other dealership ordered vehicles as "stock" or "retail" with mine also being at the top of the Mustang section even though the dealer order number was higher than the other vehicles. The priority was the same for all of the ordered vehicles also.

I also was checking with the ERL. My "calls" started approx 18 July and always indicated status as of "03 Aug" even though my call date was in July.

My order went from "scheduled week of 31 July" to "scheduled week of 31 July with ETA week of 14 Aug" to "scheduled week of 31 July with ETA week of 20 Aug" to "released as of 04 Aug with ETA week of 16 Aug" all of these dates were "as of 03 Aug" except the last one which was "as of 04 Aug". The status "as of 03 Aug" did not change until the last status which was what I heard when I called on 08 Aug.

 

I actually think that these estimates come from the shipper...

 

Hi all.... My ETA has now moved back 6 days to August 29th... I thought 1 week was too good to be true.

 

GOOD MORNING ALL!!

After being "bucked" since last Thursday, Ms. ERL told me this morning that my vehicle was produced with an estimated time of arrival of August 21st. GOSH - Really gettin' excited now!!!

 

Gettin' closer. Was told this morning that my vehicle was shipped via rail carrier with an ETA week of Aug 17th. Moved ETA from Aug 21 to 17. Will be a nervous wreck (eek - bad word) for the next week or so.
