How Many Vert Owners are Dusting off their Babies For Spring?
From looking at the picture of your Pony, I can not tell why. That is one sweet ride. Black was the other color I would have bought if it came up first with red interior back when I was shopping and found Sweetness. Does Oklahoma generally have mild winters or does it get nasty?
I have looked to the after-market to see if there were better solutions than the standard boot. So far I am not impressed. What is offered is either way over priced and unstowable or just a vinl version of what we already have. If someone could come up with an easy to install, good looking boot that is affordable and stowable in the trunk of the car - I would spring for it.

I am familiar with that feeling. I have bought 4 verts over the years. I would think I'd had enough and pedal the vert of the moment for something more "practical". YUCH!! Practical means BORING! After about 2 years I'd be back looking for another vert. Just to repeat the cycle one more time. Each time was a little more expensive. This last time is it. I bought Sweetness and I'm keeping her until my dying day. This time I bought a pick up to back her up in winter and be "practical". I ain't watching from the sideline, anymore.

Mine's a daily driver and I will get the top down even in January if it is sunny enough.
We get more rain than snow here in Vancouver area, so she is rolling every day. I did change the top to a darker color after a rip....still like the tan.
I can't wait for some warm dry weather to give her a good wash, wax and detail

So tan or black??? WADDYA think

Well in every life some rain must fall. I will take the 330 days a year when it is not raining over just about anywhere else! I took her out for a short drive this afternoon but will probably drive the wife's car (she is in Hawaii this week) til things clear up Tuesday! Since I bought the car last April 14, the top has probably been up less than two weeks total

If you buy a rag top, you are wasting your money if you don't have the top down most of the time!
We buy these cars with our hearts, not our heads - "Drive it like its rented!" I park it close to the building at work just so I can look out the window and I just get this happy feeling everytime!
It looks fast, just standing still. It is all about FREEDOM BABY!

I remember you from last year. I think we both got our tops changed around the same time. I had just bought my vert and it came with a vandalized top. Your new top looks great. Both colors are complimentary to your car, so it is hard to say which one looks best. I guess it would depend on one's mood. Did you go for the vinyl or fabric replacement?
