How Many Vert Owners are Dusting off their Babies For Spring?

Howdy, Everyone! I live in Michigan and, although its been a mild winter in Southeast Michigan, I have been doing my best to protect "Sweetness" from old man winter. Today the weather was tempting me to pull "Sweetness" from the garage and put the top down for a ride. Any other Vert owners getting the "Fever"?

I have the fever every day - she's a daily driver.

But mid-day most of this week the top will be down!

I hear ya. "Sweetness" has been a daily driver up until the beginning of Feburary when I finally scraped enough dimes together to buy "Darkness" the weather beater. Now "Sweetness" is a garage queen. If the weather keeps staying warm, the two of them are going to swap places so I can get my fresh air and sunshine injection.

With the weather we had this winter I had her out with the top down in January and a couple of times in February. Now this week it will be in the 70`s gotta love this winter.

I'm in Michigan as well - not much to dusting off my convertible for spring -- I drive it every day year round. Had the top down already this year on Saturday 3/10/2012. Yes it was cold, but I had a set of new tires to get mounted and no way to put 4 tires in the car with the top up! My 6 point cage wouldn't let the tires sit down in the back seat so the top had to drop.

Yesterday - Sunday - was a much better day for top down driving though.

I'm in Louisville and this week is going to be in the 70's and I believe the sun is going to be out! It's time to take her out and down goes the top!

Out here in California, we really haven't had much of a winter, so I have been able to take the car out at least once a month for the past few months and even had the top down early last month!

Of course, now the rain decides to show up and it's supposed to be raining for at least the next week... It figures, as I need to take the car out to go get smogged...

Here in SoCal, she's my daily driver. And I've been enjoying mostly top down weather on the weekends. The top went down on Saturday morning, and I just put it back up last night.

With that roll cage and those tires stacked in, you must have convinced the neighbors you were getting ready for Baha.

I feel your pain. It seems that everytime I decide to pull the vert out of the garage, it creates an immediate cloud burst.

unklbuck62-With all the snow you folks have been getting the past couple of years, it will probably take another month to dig the garage out of the snow!
