How Many Vert Owners are Dusting off their Babies For Spring?
Howdy, Everyone! I live in Michigan and, although its been a mild winter in Southeast Michigan, I have been doing my best to protect "Sweetness" from old man winter. Today the weather was tempting me to pull "Sweetness" from the garage and put the top down for a ride. Any other Vert owners getting the "Fever"?
I hear ya. "Sweetness" has been a daily driver up until the beginning of Feburary when I finally scraped enough dimes together to buy "Darkness" the weather beater. Now "Sweetness" is a garage queen. If the weather keeps staying warm, the two of them are going to swap places so I can get my fresh air and sunshine injection.
I'm in Michigan as well - not much to dusting off my convertible for spring -- I drive it every day year round. Had the top down already this year on Saturday 3/10/2012. Yes it was cold, but I had a set of new tires to get mounted and no way to put 4 tires in the car with the top up! My 6 point cage wouldn't let the tires sit down in the back seat so the top had to drop.
Yesterday - Sunday - was a much better day for top down driving though.

Out here in California, we really haven't had much of a winter, so I have been able to take the car out at least once a month for the past few months and even had the top down early last month!
Of course, now the rain decides to show up and it's supposed to be raining for at least the next week... It figures, as I need to take the car out to go get smogged...

unklbuck62-With all the snow you folks have been getting the past couple of years, it will probably take another month to dig the garage out of the snow!
