Once.... The 1st week I had it, and it was a retard cop that pulled me over because of no front plate. Geee, I didn't have any plates because it was new, but after pacing me for 6 blocks, he pulls me over.

Man, It's worth fighting a speeding ticket in NY. I mailed one in, in July, (I haven't gotten a ticket in 20 years) and a month later I got a little note from the DMV about a DRA (Driver Responsibility Assessment). Basically it's a $300 State Tax over and above the fine.
If I had known about it, I would've fought harder.

It's triggered by having a certain amount of points on your license. Sh , I got one ticket in 20 years, 6 points, $250 fine, $300 DRA and all of a sudden, I'm public enemy #1. I definitely would've tried to negotiate the points in court!

I was speeding on my Harley, 4th of July. Man, what's more American than that!

Based on the poll so far korinwoodo, I would say you have made a very good point.. Although we as Mustang drivers talk alot of talk, for the most part, we are all pretty responsible drivers! Which goes to show, that most of those who choose to own Mustangs, are a class act!

 

Zero times in the Mustang. I actually end up going slower in that car than I do in the Durango most of the time...

I got pulled over in the Durango last month though... go figure.

 

Last time I was pulled over and cited was in 1990...driving a 1989 Mustang LX 4cyl. Cop said I failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. Paid the fine and went to traffic school. Haven't been pulled over since.
I can't afford any tickets as it could cost me my job, and of course higher insurance premiums.

Only once. And the officer didn't have any enforcable goods, so he didn't write a ticket. Instead, he gave me the standard "slow it down" speech.

I voted none, but one cop did ask me at a light if I would pull over so he could look at the car.

I did and we chatted for a few minutes. He used to drive one the 5.0 mustangs and like the new 05'...

 

Funny that this topic should come up, i got my 2nd (first one was 20 years ago) speeding ticket in 35 years Friday. When i had my 01 SVT Lightining i never got pulled over.
