After reading Dustin's latest cop story. I was just wondering how many times everyone's been pulled over in your 2005-2006 mustang. Do you think it attracts attention from them?

None. I've been lucky so far.

None yet, though I feel that I'm living on borrowed time. I think it'll all catch up to me soon.

4 times since Feb. 2 speeding, 1 illegal pass, 1 warning for no front plate. There was another "atempted" stop.

Once, for speeding, but I got off with a verbal warning, thankfully.

None yet, but I have had a couple of VERY close calls in the past 5 days. They've really been stepping up patrols on the interstate I travel on to & from work this past week. Wednesday night/morning when I got off work, there were 6 sitting on the shoulder in one spot just waiting. Hopefully a week or two will go by and things will be back to normal, and hardly ever see one out there.

None yet! Allthough I got the thumbs up from 2 Z28 Camaro California Highway Patrol officers at 3AM in the morning for keeping up with them to 110MPH.. LOL!! They wanted to see what it could do early that morning..

So with no other cars on the freeway at 3am, we lined up 1,2,3 with me in the middle and nailed it.. I kept up, to this speed and we all backed down.. They flashed the sirens, and lights at me, and gave a thumbs up..! LOL!!

So not all Cops are out to get us..

I'm lucky - 80% of my driving is 'spirited' - no stops yet, just a couple of evil eyes when I passed.

Once. Knock on wood. When I drive through a particular intersection, the pavement is rough so I swerve around to the right. One day, a couple of the finer LE officers on base thought I had driven over the curb in that swerving process. They must have had amazing vision since they were 400-600 or more feet in front of me. Said they wanted to be sure I wasn't under the influence. At 7 in the morning! SHEESH! They let me go after 20 or so minutes of them checking license etc etc etc. :bang:

Twice and a half.

First time was 80 in a 65. I was going with the flow at night. I had 95 miles on the car 5 hours after delivery. CT trooper let me go with a warning.

Second time was at night at a light. When it turned green, I punched it and chirped first and then second. Local in an unmarked SUV, 2 cars behind, pulled me over and started laughing at me. I agreed, we both were cracking up at how stupid a maneuver and he let me go.

The half was when I was accelerating up to hiway speed (again, at night) and got up to 80 in a 65. A trooper speeds up and pulls next to me and says 'Slow down' over the loudspeaker. Then she drove off...

I've been cut alot of breaks, and never got a ticket I didn't deserve.

Twice: once in Delware for speeding and once in NY for speeding...
The first one in Delaware I was going over the speed limit (paid my fine. no arguements frmo me cause no points on my license) but the second one I wasn't the one who set off the cops radar but he came after me and not the car who flew by me. So it's off to court we go. Wish me luck!
