What about those of us that chose to order a V6? I ordered in september, and am still waiting, while some have ordered a GT later than that and already received it. How is that fair?

Put some reasoning behind your comment.

I guess since the GT is the higher dollar car, I will agree on that assessment.

I completely disagree with it. Marketing really screwed up. And what does the price have to do with anything, the V6 outsells the GT.

i under stand that what i really meant was the people that are just now placing the order they should have to wait until 06 and gt should get it now.

Ah, go easy on the V6ers, their people too! Seriously, there should be enough IUP to go around!

But best case scenario is that we all get the IUP if that is what we wish..... unfortunately this is a case of: "Can please some of the people some of the time.....but can't please all the people all the time" Bottom line is that IUP was supposed to be available for V-6 and GT, if it's not........

i think ford should have showed the iup's at the cvar show and had a poll to see how many people liked it and according to that they should have thought abt how many people will want it bacause as of right now almost every person want a iup v6 and gt

I still believe that all of the pre orders should be filled as ordered. And the cars ordered for the lot shouldnt get the iup. I know this wont happen, but it seems like the right thing to do, by giving the true mustang fans (which a large majority of them favor the V6 for whatever reason) what they asked for.

Yeah....I read somewhere that upwards of 80% or more want the IUP. Heck, I ordered my GT w/IUP on Nov. 1st.......if I have to wait 'till spring or summer, I will be just a little bit miffed.....

I wonder just how many V-6's sell to each 1 GT??? I had heard from my dealership that the popularity of the GT was more than Ford had anticipated.

So....is there a shortage of manual tranny's as well? I hadn't heard that one yet?

So apparently nobody told you that it is because of the V6 that the Mustang is even still around? Mustang Sales are in the ballpark of 60% when it comes to the V6. So why would Ford take a crap on the majority of the market that keeps the Mustang alive?!?!?!?!

Really dude, drop the superiority thing about the GT. The MyColor and IUP is not some up-scale feature, it's a gimmic and a popular one at that. If anything Ford should have offered the IUP and MyColor package seperately.

I really do hate it when people try to take a dump on the V6ers as I am one of them.

:bang: :notnice: :stubborn: :nono: :flame2:

If there are more GT's ordered than V6's & more people want IUP than anticipated. Then why aren't all GT"s on hold & the V6's get the IUP? Since escentially it's the GT's fault. I think that I ordered IUP & I WANT IUP!!!!! V6 or not. Just because those who bought the GT's are paying more money for their car does not make their car anymore important than the people who odered before you & choose the V6.

1st come 1st served was the way I was raised. And that is how I would do it if I was running Ford. Those who ordered 1st would get it. After I ran out you could either wait or settle for less, GT or V6 reguardless.

JMO. And I am sure now that I have emailed Ford again they are aware of my opinion too.
Cheers mates
