Pulled off dealers lot, straightened her out and spanked her. Wife was in Passat behind me. Well she was behind for a second at least lol.

Basically, he says for the first 200 miles to load the engine (hit it hard) in every gear with short bursts of acceleration and deceleration.

I floored it leaving the dealers lot. I also hit the rev limiter in 1st ger a few days later.

 

Yep, I'll be doing a burnout as I leave the lot!

 

Break it in like the way you are going to drive it, that is what they told me when I bought my 86 Mustang GT and I have 204000 miles on it with no major problems, evan has the original clutch.

I drove it hard during the first test drive (before purchase). at the time it only had 5 miles or so..

 

I floored it on the test drive and picked it up the same day.

You don't need to baby it.
