My first new car, my wife always drove the new cars, bought all 3 of my kids first cars, paid off some bills and now its my turn, my first Mustang and first new car!!. If Ford had not redesigned this car I would likely be driving either a 350Z or RX-8. I never really considered an American car or a Mustang , I was looking for the sufistication and refinement of forign sports car. Needless to say I love my 05 Torch Red Mustang and have never been disapointed or wished I had bought either the 350Z or RX-8. Neither one of those car ever get the attension my Mustangs does and neither one of them has the kick in the butt excitement , thrilling exhaust my Mustangs has. Ill take my Mustang over anything under 30k, nothing else like it.

I had a Pinto is college...and the sad part is I loved that car! I still miss my little Blue Pinto! Anyways.....we bought a '05 Mustang for our daughter....she only liked the old ones....but when the new one came out that had the classic look to it she loved it!

My first Stang, if Ford keeps this up it won't be my last.
I am with you! I decided to buy a new car, just cause. I looked at the G35, 350Z and even the Thunderbird over a period of about 18 months, but couldn't find something that I wanted bad enough to actually purchase it. As soon as I saw the new Mustang I knew it was the right car for me. No test drive, just placed an order for it and I am very happy I did.

This is Mustang #2 1/2 for me. I had a 91 GT, my wife's 99 v6(the half since it was her car) and my 05 GT. My Mom had a 90 4 banger and Dad had a 67 beater.

This is my 1st Mustang and my 1st new car.
Drove 1992 Taurus station wagon and 1993 Eagle Vision in HS and 1st year of college. Then in the summer of '01 I bought a 1998 Mistubishi Galant, traded that in Nov 20, 2004 for my '05.

This is going to be my first Mustang, my father has a 40th Anv Mach 1 which I love but can't drive for two reasons first being I can't drive stick and secondly he just wouldn't let me ...But in all seriousness im really looking forward to this car not only becasue its my first Mustang, not only becasue my buddies and I are forming a club, not only becasue I have wanted a Mustang for as long as I can remember, bu becasue it is going to feel great being able to cruise around town with my dad in his, it will be something the two of us can share, we don't get much quality Father/Son time together anymore do to different work schedules and our lives just have pulled us different ways, it will feel real good to be able to ride with my Dad, I think I look forward to that more so than I do the arrival of the car itself.

If I had to pick "one" to be my first to buy, it would be the '05 GT. Good luck with the new pony!

Eleanor is my first of many mustangs to come. The time has never been right to own one before, but I have been in love with mustangs since I was five.
When I was a senior in high school I fell in love with the 5.0 fox. BUT stupid me bought a sunbird instead...WTF?
Now my kids are officially old enough to drive what I want for once after 11 years of kid friendly purgatory.
