Thumbs up

Well I'm sure it's happened to all of us and I've seen some of you have already been in Accidents

So far I've almost been 3 Major car crashes, I've came so close my first one a Lady turns right in front of me I was going about 45 I was so scared I slammed on the brakes so hard after the skid to a stop the Lady was like 3-4 inches from my door I mean I couldn't even open my door or I would hit her car with it and the bad thing is she didn't even say sorry

other 2 were kind like the first.

Defensive Driving classes for everyone :drive:

Don't really have a number, but some of these people just don't think.

Agreed. There are some idiotic drivers on the road these days. You really need to think and act defensively. Leave lots of room around yourself when possible; always be looking far enough down the road to spot potential problems; check your mirrors constantly to know what is behind you; and drive purposefully.

Good luck in avoiding more idiots. :bang: :bang:

I avoid a major accident at least twice a day.

I've become numb to the whole thing!

Luckily I have not been close to an accident in my new stang. However, I have almost caused a few crashes from people staring at my car, and almost breaking their necks to do so. One guy actually ran a red light and luckily there were no cars coming. Just today, a guy in a van turned onto the road in the oncoming lane and actually clipped the curb and went off the road looking at my car. Fuuny thing is, most people when they hit a curb would actually realize it and stop or look and see what they hit... he just kept staring at my car and drove on the grass.

I almost slammed into somebody who was stopped in a freeway onramp ... Gotta love the ABS.

You gotta be aware at all times!

Wasn't in my '05 when this happened but late Tuesday night the roads in Jersey were frozen over and I was on my way home in my 1991 Saturn SL2. There was a cop in an SUV in front of me. I guess the car that passed us on the opposite side of the road was speeding because the cop flipped on his cherries and SLAMMED ON HIS BRAKES to make a quick U-Turn... except the roads were frozen over so he just wound up skidding left/right, his car's rear end all over both sides of the road. He clipped a tree and although I was a considerable distance behind him, I came darn close to rear-ending him.

I HATE JERSEY! Even the cops drive like a horse's butt!

I got to avoid one earlier this week. Someone decides that they want to turn left out of a grocery store etc area onto a divided 4 lane. Problem is that he doesn't clear to the right before he pulls out and then has to stop IN MY LANE because of traffic. Luckily the right lane was empty so I just changed lanes and presed on after shaking my head. Sorry to say, but not much surprises me from the freaking MORONS on the roads these days....

Living in Phoenix doesn't help either. These people have no clue how to drive in dry, sunny weather. /boggle

Our problem is we get all the bad drivers from around the country. Some of them will be leaving soon, once it hits a 100 degrees, it's bye-bye snowbirds

I only wish it helped more

Last night my daughter went to get ice cream with my parents.
They witnessed a tragedy:
A red 05 got mashed at accident alley(accidents there all the time fools can't drive, thats why I avoid that area).
Lets have a moment of silence for it......

Sorry no pics, I was not there.

Ahh...and that explains it. I grew up in a Texas town that's a favorite hotspot for that as well. I'm all for yearly mandatory driving tests for anybody over 65. But thats another topic...
