'05...I want to trade in my '96 while it still has value. Just waiting to get a few more ducks in a row....

 

My situation is being stalled only because I need to pay off a few bills. Once I pay off the bills I'll likely go and order an 05. But if the 06 has a color I like more I'll wait.

 

I ordered mine December 10th. Black GT with IUP, dark charcoal, leather, 5-speed, side airbags and wheel locks. I was told 10 to 12 weeks back then. Haven't heard very much from the dealer. What are my chances of getting it by early to mid-March? I have an eager buyer for my '89 GT - only has 70,000 miles. I keep telling them they can't have it until the new one arrives.

 

Waiting for my '05. Ordered 11-26 and should be here in March. My dealer changed my priority code from 10 to 02. :w00t:

 

dealer can't assign a priority 2. that is reserved for Ford use only for things like replacements for cars that were built incorrectly and other special circumstances.

 

It says Priority 02 on my DORA.

Edit: my salesperson is on my fire dept. He knows I used to work for the owner at another of his dealerships and am on friendly terms. I told him not to mention that to his manager b/c I didn't want any special treatment.. I'm perfectly fine waiting my turn in line. Perhaps he did mention it?
