Been waiting since October for my 05 because of the IUP delays...now that the IUP delays are going away and after all this down time waiting, I'm really considering the 06 instead of the 05...My 05 won't be in my neck of the woods at least until the end of March...maybe I should wait and get an 06 instead....The 06 will surely bring with it some refinements that were discovered during model year one such as road noise, Shaker stereo, gear whine, etc. and the chance for new options like sat. radio, heated seats, horsepower increases, rebates, etc...so once again after this much of a wait what's a few more months to holdout for an 06...what say you????

'06. I'll be ready for a new car at the end of this year or early next year.

I'm hoping for April for my 05 GT. If it DOES take until August, then I might cancel and order and early 06 instead. If it comes in on time, I will be VERY happy. If it doesn't, I'll be very happy to be one of the first with an 06! I end up VERY HAPPY either way!

planning on ordering 05 in March, I might consider holding out for the 06 if I was confident some of the first model year kinks will be worked out.

I had the very first GT in the St Louis area and have ordered another one from KARPRO here on the forum. I will wait as long as it takes but don't tell him that. Car is due in late March. The 05 is the first of a new ERA and that is what I want. Not an 06. Ride On

05 vert this spring, If they can't deliver before July I will probably not
get a Mustang. I have been having thought about going to the dark side.
(Magnum RT awd) Even though my dad always said "no matter what you think you are buying from Chrysler, some morning your going to wake up and find you own a Dodge." :stubborn:

I want the first model year of the new era. Then when I get it paid off a 2010 Cobra would be cool, but that's a long time from now. Right now an 05 GT would suffice.

I was going to order an 05, but b/c they are so new, the dealers are treating them like Ferraris. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Mustangs, but it is indeed a Mustang. It is driving me crazy that dealers are treating them like $200,000, limited production, Italian sports cars. Anyway, I think I am going to wait until 06 because 1) they will be cheaper and easier to deal on when the market has been saturated, 2) any refinements will have begun, and mostly 3) I really want to 18" wheels that are coming out in 06.

Ditto on '06 - need down payment, want titanium, and 18" fan blades (don't disapoint us now, Ford), and would like to see what refinements are added. (here's a new one - seat belt retainer on the front seats...you almost have to be double jointed to reach back and grab the belt)

05 ~ She should be here next week. I wasn't planning on ordering one or buying one off the lot at all. I still had 4 years to pay for my 03. But since the 03 is a Lemon & I am getting a really good deal through Ford I took it.

Laters all

07-08 you might as well buy a 05 and pay it off in three years then trade to an 08

I'll wait till I get it. I want the first model year. I'll just buy another one when this one's paid for. Of course, it has to be built first.
