OK, my dealer said I should get pulled this week or next. Once that happens, how long can I reasonably expect to wait for my baby? I need to know when to get ready to try and sell my current vehicle.....

Took mine 3 weeks from the time I got scheduled to delivery.

What do you mean by this weeks orders?

My dealer submitted my car order for MAy 16th. That was the beginning of my whole process. I got a DORA today saying it was accepted on May 16th. (this week).

So, am I part of the group you are talking about? So, second week of june build?

Like other threads, it all depends on your dealer's allocations and how many other
orders are in front of you. I ordered my GT on Apr 4 and got serialized last week.
My order is scheduled for the week of June 6th. I think all the previous reply meant was that orders getting serialized this week will be for the week of
June 13th.

 

I see. So the time between order and serialization is dependant on dealer allocation.

 

That is correct. The other item in the equation is commodity issues; e.g. they may only have a certain percentage of a particular commodity or body type avaialble so if you for example have a GT coupe on order and there is no commodity avaialble, it won;t pull no matter how many the dealer has allocated.

 

I ordered on 12/14/04; was pulled and serialized on 3/31/05; built on 4/29/05; took delivery 5/16/05.

 

Daniel, if you ordered an 05 in May. You didn't say GT or V6. If it is a GT I wouldn't get too excaited about it. JMO
