For those of you who have ordered 08's, about how long has it taken you to take delivery? I'm trying to get my stuff together to order one later this year and I'm trying to plan the best time to order.

It depends. I started in May looking local and ended up getting the order in and cofirmed in 7/5/07. I'm at the blend date 8/27/07 and I'm hoping to get the car in a few weeks. It should have been produced this week and I am hoping a week or 2 more but it all depends when it goes through the rest of the required steps. It's looking like I am 3/4 of the way to done but not sure.

 

Well, I ordered on 06-16-07, got a build date of 8-20-07, and should have it in the next couple of days. Maybe tomorrow?

The Factory shuts down for two weeks in early July to retool for the new model year, so it took a little longer then you might expect. At least at the beginning of the model year........

 

Placed my order 20 May, order was submitted to factory 19 Jun, car was built 6 Aug and it was delivered 21 Aug. Now all I need is five more weeks to pass so I can get back to the states and take delivery!!!
