I do a lot of autocross events. Some of the course layouts let us get up to about 90mph, but usually it is around the 60mph mark. I have done drag racing but I get a bigger rush when there are more turns and braking added. I plan to race the first event in the spring.
People think I am crazy to even think of racing a brand new car. I trust my driving abilty to keep it off the wall. Man I can't wait to put that car throught its paces!! It is going to kick hiney

If the course is set up properly, there should be little to no risk at all. I wouldn't hesitate to take it to an open track event either. There's more risk driving on the street or having a shopping cart run into your car.
