OK Ive got a build date (week of 9/26/05 ) Can Any of you guys on the West Coast with 05s or 06s give me an idea how long it took to get your car after it was built? I assume it will go to Portland by rail and from there by truck to the dealer in Bend ( Central Oregon). Any info greatly appreciated.

 

Still waiting on mine. Will be 3 weeks this Thursday since it's ship date. Didn't realize it would take this long. Expecting it any day now. Delivery to Montana. Hope you have better luck.

 

I ordered my 2006 June 24, and it arrived at the dealorship on August 18. My salesman told me they had a high priority on it. The bigger dealorships have a better chance of getting your car quicker because they order more.

mine will be built this week..the robot lady says it will be here the 24th

 

Expect about 2 weeks after build.That seems to be the average of a lot of members of TMS.

 

Dan what state are you in?

 

Mine was shipped July 20 and arrived in Kent, WA on August 1. Arrived at dealer in Wenatchee, WA late on August 5 (had to wait the weekend out!) and picked up on Monday August 8. I'm not sure if that is typical but it should give you an idea.

By the way, I ordered it on February 9!

Yeah which one? I ordered from Star on June 11th, my build date is Sept 12th.

 

I ordered my Mustang from Byerly Ford... Dickie Sutton was the salesman.. a friend of my dad's.

My car may be on the same train as yours. I ordered from a dealer in Portland, OR and have a 9/26 build date. I live in SW Washington and have been waiting since my original 2005 order last March. It is nice to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Gary what dealer in Portland did you order from? I couldnt find one that wasnt trying to hose me for 3,4,5k over MSRP.I finally gave up and ordered from the local dealer, Its a smaller dealer I was a little worried about allocation but I have a build date now so I guess its not an issue.
