Had a little accident last weekend - hopefully it will heal well before my GT arrives, but I have a feeling this is the type of injury that will ache from time to time.

the clutch is hydraulic and thus very, very light from what we've heard so far

Here's what I heard:

04 Mustang GT - 35 lbs clutch effort
04 Mustang Cobra - 55 lbs clutch effort
05 Mustang GT - 23 lbs clutch effort

Reference:
04 BMW M3 - 23 lbs clutch effort

The clutch is light and the shifter is precise. You're going to love this tranny. Don't worry one bit.

Exactly what I noticed.
I even said, "our Cobra is twice as hard as this" when I sat in an 05.

that rocks

i was hoping with rush hour (7-10AM)(2-9pm) on LI where its pretty much a standstill on the parkways that the clutch would make me tired from pushing like the 04GT i tried

The clutch is very very light and the travel is very short. You're going to love it.
