So, I am outside spot detailing my car... which on a black car means I do this all the time, and ends up being a full detail, LOL! (Gotta love Black cars...) and this guy drives by... slows, stops, backs up, and says, "Is that the new one?" No, its a 69... (duh, there are so many around now, that question is almost a no brainer) "Yup." He parks, gets out..."its really nice, all leather interior?" I say, "yup, here, take a look, the interior is awesome" Open the door. He pokes his head in, "wow, this is really nice... very old school." then stands up and says, "So, how do you like it?" My response, : "I love it. Had it since December, and absolutely love it."
Here is my question: Are any of you regretting your purchase? Excluding the malfunctions, and issues the car has, (gas tank, struts, radio, rear end, etc) who really just does not enjoy this car? I have 4 of the common problems, struts, radio, tank and paint. I still love the bejesus out of this car.

I love the car, don't regret it at all. So far I've had minor skipping problems with the Shaker 500, and a few minor little gotchas (it is a Ford, not a Mercedes) but that's all. It's a great car, comfortable, solid, powerful, fun to drive and sexy as heck. Takes some getting used to having people staring at you all the time... it sometimes unnerves the passengers.

What's there to regret? Built on 11/11/04 and took delivery on 11/18/04. Got the GT for invoice. At the worlds largest auto auction - Manheim they sold a GT a few weeks back with 5,000 miles on it for $29,000! Remember that's wholesale! If you regret it right now you won't loose any money.

No regrets. So far, the only problems I've experienced were a rattle in the passenger side air vent and a paint problem on the hood. It's a lot of car for $25K. If I had room in the garage, I'd buy another one!

Had my GT since dec. 15th. I still love it. I don't regret buying it not for an instant. It is my dream car, or atleast my dream car for under 100 grand. I've never been so gaga over a material possesion ever. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy
but she loves it too. I still love the color too, no its not purple it's Sonic Blue!

Everyday I drive my baby to work or if I get lucky and go out driving without the wife and kids I think "Am I dreaming?" I have waited 28 years to say " I own a Mustang!" For all the little things you might say could be better, there is no better car for me! Everyone who sees me in it says "You nailed it! That car is you!" Now all I have to do is get my wife one so she'll leave mine at home!
What does my son think?....
