How close to original eta were you

I have my car on order.

Ordered 4/26/06
Built 6/30/06

they gave me an eta of 7/23/06 when it was first put into production. Now i just called they gave me the build dateof the 30th of june, and moved my eta to the 20th.

Maverick said his car (delivered november '04) was two weeks late so i could just count on that. I am wondering in general how close to initial ETA were most of the cars on here delivered.

Its OH SO CLOSE

Mine was pretty dead on, a couple of days. But if memory serves me correctly, after your car leaves the factory, the ERL (if that's were you or your dealer are getting your info from) becomes useless. Once it leaves the factory, its up to the transit company to make it there on time.

Mine was shipped railcar and it could've arrived in CA on a late, late Friday, but I guess the engineer decided to call it a week and park the train at the edge of the AZ border for two days. I could've drove out there and picked it up myself, since it was coming back to AZ anyway...

Joe,

Ordered 3/13, Vin on 4/13, built on 6/6. Should have been in my hands 9 days from the 6th. Their original ETA was 6/15 (hence the 9 days). It was bumped to 6/21 and they never altered it again once set. I thought the 15th was unrealistic so I took the 21st to heart and used that as the 'official' ETA. It came in Wed, 7/5, or what I would call 14 days late. (21 if you want to use 6/15.

Bottom line? It ended up being one month from the build date and that is unacceptable. Keep in mind this car was handed to me with 6 miles so it's not like they held it for quality control check. Those have a sticker and a mileage amount entered... like 45-65 miles.

I'm very happy now, but let's be honest. This car was late and people were buying store stock '07's when my retail order was sitting on a lot in Michigan.

That's my rant and I'm sticking to it!

My ETA bounced arounnd a bit - from week of June 26th to week of July 1st - then it settled back in on week of June 26th and the car arrived on Monday, June 26th.

ok so it seems that its happening within a few days of the proper time Pitpup, yours was pretty late, and your right, thats pretty rediculous. But since they are saying its three weeks form the build date, i guess i will pretty much trust them. I am going to get the ball rolling and have the loan check in hand, hopefully by the end of the week.

Mine bounced around a bit but was usually "Week of July 1" and she arrived on June 30 so it was pretty close. Customer Relations always said week of July 7.
