Does anyone know how much the aluminum hood weighs?

 

Well, no, but the body guys commented that it weighed a LOT less than my aftermarket Ca. Dream hood. If weight is your primary concern, you might stick with stock.

I just thought...There are several companies selling stock takeoff parts. Check on shipping costs and it might mention weight there.

 

Not sure the exact, however a Carbon fiber hood is less than half the weight and the same strength

 

Aluminum hood = 27.7lbs
