I like it however not sure what kinda damage they would do to a fiberglass hood. I'd get them but I will be swapping hoods in the future.

hmmmm, never tried but I don't think our hoods will go that far back.

I have heard of people messing up there fiberglass hoods with these. When they open hard, they can get ripped out. Or start to wear the connection. Especially if it is someone else working on your car (dealer, etc).

They do unclip pretty easy though if needed. If you are worried about "flipping" your hood back on your roof, then you will also need to unbolt the hood. So the two little clips are insignifigant to that.

I concur......i could live with a bent piece of metal for a hood rod. All i need are some decent pins to keep the bugger closed at high speeds !!
