That foam looks great! I've seen it added on a lot of cars but I've never seen it look that good. How much did you pay? I'd be interested in it.

Round about $15 for one piece - two meters long.

Cool "Just Another Idea"

On this hood flutter at speed issue. Wondering if the aftermarket radiator cover extensions when installed could possible dampen some of that air pressure flutter under the hood? Has anyone installed these extensions? And then noticed any difference as to how the hood now reacts to the air compression on both sides the radiator facial area at higher speeds? just another idea on this? CalStang

No, the radiator cover extensions won't help.

Not bad. I bet they could sell a few of them to people in the States.

Correct as I have MWG radiator extensions and still get flutter at higher speeds. I have also heard that some of the open design grills (like the Roush billet) can contribute to this as there is a much larger area for air enter.

Hood shake at speed

My 05 GT S197 hood shakes at 105MPH on the spot! I use it as a safety measure (so I can keep my eyes on the road without looking down at the speedo) . . . . . . . I know for a fact a bunch of Ford engineers tried to prevent this at product launch in 04. . . .. . .. . . . .. . .. .don't you guys know the speed limit is 70MPH in most states!

I'm not sure why they didn't. All it would have taken was to open up the cowl to let the high pressure air escape. Literally you could cut a whole yourself if you really wanted to.
