Hood Question...yeah yeah , it`s dumb

I just installed the CDC hood struts. All went well. Even painted the hardware to match my color. My hood has allways been a little off on one side , so I tried to push the hood to one side when tightening the hood bolts. Nothing.
So how do you square the hood , what do you adjust?
What am I missing?

The first thing I would do, is grab it by the 'tight' gap side, and give it a tug the opposite direction. Good ole' Redneck Bodywork 101 class.

If I still wasn't happy, I'd be bringing it to the dealer and have them adjust it. Should be a warranty item.

I adjusted mine using the fenders. There are four or five 10MM bolts on the fender under the hood. adjust the side that will square it up. You will need someone to hold the fender while you tighten the bolts. Hope this helps you.
