Which Hood?

I'm looking to get a new hood soon. I really like the Trufiber GTS-4 hood and also am considering the Trufiber SVT style reverse waterfall hood. Does anyone have either of these hoods? How is the quality and how was the fitment?

Also I'm open to anyone's opions of what they think would look good on my stang. Legend Lime Roush Stage 1

Thanks!

I like the GTS-4 hood, was going to order it until I decided to put a huge down payment on my 11' Roush. Did some research and it seemed to have good quality for a fiberglass hood.

I'm really loving the gts4. How much for a paint job do you think?

Will vary greatly depending on the shop. Also will depend on if you want the under side painted.

I'm really leaning towards that hood for sure. I like everything about it but I just don't wanna look too much like the gt500

I like that one too but if I'm spending the money I want to get the most features out of it as possible. The GTS 4 is ram air and heat extraction. But I have given serious consideration to that hood as well

TruFiber has very questionable reliability ... Do a search on them, I know that one guy on my local forums had one and it took a lot of time and money just to get it to an ok condition and than about 8 months or so later it started cracking. If I were you I would go with a Cervinis hood if you like GT-4 style hood.

go with the Trufiber GTS4 this is my 2nd hood the first was a fiberglass that will require some prep work, my 2nd hood is the Carbon Fiber GTS4 and I have had no problems with either hood, just cause 1 person claims to have had an issue I would check with the masses I know about 20 guys with Trufiber hoods and no problems. go to WWW.Truforums.com and ask how many people have the Trufiber hoods and ask if any have had issues, also ask them to post pictures of their cars you are going to find a bunch of happy guys that will be more then happy to share their pictures, I can post pictures tomorrow when I get back in town.
