Home made brake duct kit officially finished

I had another post here https://themustangsource.com/showthread.php?t=482455 that showed the kit I made. The last thing I was needing to do was the grill in the inlet ports. The material finally arrived, so I added the finishing touch.

First, I took the extra length of speaker port I cut off and used it to trace on a piece of wood so the oval shape would match the ports.

Then I cut out the wire mesh oversize and hammered it around the wood. A final trim after that and the grill for the inlet port was done.

Really happy with the end result. I have noticed a few people giving it a second glance, I wonder if they think it is a KR grill???

Very cool, no pun intended.
Lots of people with aluminum welding experience on the island since the fast ferry fiasco??

Which one? I assume you mean the brake duct grill, I made it myself. If you are asking where I got the material, I got it at a local metal supplier.

How does the cool air get to the brakes? Is the ducting?

There is a hose that directs the air to a dust plate with a port. Did you click on the link?
