Hit a RACOON last night

On my way home last night a furry little racoon ran in front of me while I was doing 80 mph. I guess I was lucky that this is all that happened to my car.

I wish I could say the same for my furry little friend.

Now a little help from Kevin.

So... you were speeding and have a guilty concience. Now his offsprings are orphans.

I hit one on Monday so I feel your pain. Broke the mount for theleft turn signal and the underside of the bumper is cracked. Poor thing(racoon).

I was hanging out at a dyno day with some other guys recently. One guy hit a wild turkey (the bird, not the drink) on the way to the dyno. His underside was covered in guts/blood. The dyno guys made him get off the dyno and clean his undercarrage first.

I swear, I saw a woman driving through the parking structure in the shopping center with a dead cat hanging from the underside of her front bumper! She was an older lady and she had NO CLUE it was there, and it was 100% real.

Actually, according to National Geographic, racoons tend to commit suicide during the spring. Have been for the past decade or so. Nobody knows why, but it's sort of like the whales that beach themselves: it's a mystery.

So don't feel too badly, mco05gt.

On the other hand, it could have been a bet:

Rocky: "Hey, Rocky (hic), bet you can't get across the road without that Stang hittin' you!"

Bandit: "Oh yaaaa? Izz bejchta I can (hic)! Wachsz this...!

Screeeeeeeeeeech....THUMP!

When I saw the picture attachments I thought they would be of the raccoon. Needless to say, I was disappointed...

Oh well, did you at least eat it?

re:

I had a bird stuck in the foglight area of my 02 V6. I didn't have fogs so its head was lodged in there between those little bars. I was a puss and took a while to get it out.

We actually stopped at a Subway (sandwich shop) and the girl there offered to take it out. I told her I wanted her to at least make my sandwiches first.

You've got Racoons, we've got Possum's!

They are everywhere here in Jersey. And these critter's are slower than slow when they cross the road, literally! Just about any road you go on, you will find at least one dead possum in the middle or on the side of the road. At this rate, I think they're going to be extinct here in Jersey. But I've hit one of them, accidently at night, with my old stang, i didnt even know, he must of started crossing the road just as I past it. I thought I hit a curb when I felt that "bump", then when I noticed it was a Possum i felt bad.

In some parts of the country he would be at someone's home being served for dinner.

I don't think Brad's part of town is that far from her's, but now that I think of it I'm only 200 miles away. Can someone pass the A1?

Hell, I live in DC and would be more than happy to eat a raccoon...or a squirrel...or a guinnea pig. Of course, alot of people think I'm sadistic and compassionless...
