Does anyone else think that these hips would look great on the mustang. These are really the only thing i think the 05 is missing design wise. As a whole I like the charger better than the GTO but i wish the other companies bringing back classics woud design a new car and not just change a current model and call it a new car.

i hate the new charger, i saw it at the LA autoshow...definately doesnt do a great car such as the charger was a good name...looks like the magnum or another wagon or family car

 

not really.i think the charger is nothing like the old one excpt that it has 4 wheels,it looks like a stratus magnum to me,but i would like to see a photo edited pic of the mustang.

 

i'm with ya, i just would really like the hips on the mustang. As for th Charger, Don't love it, Don't hate it, but your right, it definately doesn't do the classic justice.

 

Make the Charger a coupe and do some retro taillights...then at least they'd be on the right track..

 

AMEN to that....the Charger could have been so much more. the front looks like a truck! A Charger with 4 doors? That's like a Mustang with 4 doors! Dear God, what a major mistake that would be! The Magnum has much more funk than the Charger....dare I say it...the GTO even looks better than the Charger!!!!

the hips would look good on the 05 tho. i would like a 2door charger, but i'd drive the fourdoor. this coming from the teenager who hates fourdoors. this, its magnum counterpart and the falcon are the only 4doors id ever wanna own.

PS: chrysler 300C = human excrement. styleing-wise

 

To me the Charger is the in-between of the 05 Stang and GTO. To me the GTO has absolutely no style, but the Charger isn't as nice as the Mustang.

I like the Chrysler 300 and both Dodges-I don't understand why everyone is such an uproar over the Charger name-only the '68-'70 Charger can be described as a classic design. I'd love to have a Charger SRT-the thing will go faster than the old hemi powered cars and will handle better-is better inside and gets better milage-what's not to love?

I like the Magnum bettter than the 300 or the Charger. The Charger would be better if it had been produced as a coupe. The real issue is just how good -reliability - not power - are MOPAR cars these days?

 

if your talking about the rear fenders... and the lift or angle upward just behind the rear side windows... i could not agree more...
that's the one body line i think they missed.

 

The Charger is really the only thing Dodge has made that I don't like. I love the Magnum, and I like the 300, but I still wouldn't own either. Ford only for me.

Hips would just be too much IMO. Plus, I really like the nice straight lines of the Stang, and hips just wouldn't go with the rest of the car.

But if somebody really wanted to do it, I'm sure it would just take some bondo and a different window.
