Okay, this may sound like a dumb question, however I have one regarding the halo fog lamps.
My switch is a single position switch, it's either on or off. When do the halos light and when do the main lamps light? Are they both at the same time, or can I light the halos without the fogs??
thanks..

if they're like the ones i had, the halos have there own seperate wires, so you can wire them any way you want...
for ex: to their own switch, or tapped into the parking lights (thats what i did with mine)or even to a switched live source in the fuse box so they come on when you start the car...etc

Yes, You can wire these up with your own switch or you can tap them into the parking lights and they will come on when the parking lights come on. Your Choice..

that's cool that you are doing this, but I'll tell you that I refuse to purchase any of these lights without having photos of what they look like installed. There are too many times i see mustangs on the street that have some lights installed on them that looked cool online, but actually installed were just plain atrocious

This thread has me thinking now. I kinda thought the Halo fog lights were silly and should be left to the BMW's , but now Im thinking it would be great to have the halo fog lights and have the halo come on with the parking lights. Most new cars now have some sort of day/ running lights for visibilty all the time. So the Halos with the running lighst would be perfect. Thats one reason I run with just my fog lights some times so people see my car better.
