Cool

Well I was in a walmart parking lot and when I went out to my car about to get in it I hear a car comming with rap blasting. So I look up and there they are two guys trying to act black with there ecko shirts and hats ect. And then they roll down the window and ask me "how much was that piece of poo" and before I could say anything a guy in a black GT that was beside them said "that kids new mustang costed more then what your mom is asking across the street" haha so they went off in there sunfire and still acted cool. So the man in the black GT talked to me for a little bit and he told me that I had a nice car and I told him also how cool his was {he had a roush kit on it}. see ya.

gotta love some people. Had a similar experience yesterday. I go to the hardwear store for my dad and as i pull in some guy in this civic just gives me a dirty look fo no reason as he gets out of his car. His car has this ugly bolt on double spoiler as well as dual "coffee can" exaust off the back. I couldn't help but laugh.

Was leaving my brother and sister-in-laws place one Sunday night - headed to the Expressway out west for the trek back up north to my apt.... cruising on this road and this Explorer type SUV pulls up next to me - with two chicks who were obviously eihter drunk, high, or both. The blond in the passeneger seat is laughing and we leave as the light turns green - they hurry to catch up to me and the blond yells out here open window in southern accent "Ahhhhh HATE Mustaaaaangs!!" all happy and gleeful.... as I am trying to think of something witty to yell back, they start drifting to the left and almost tag the curb.

Got way ahead of them cause I didn't wanna be around when they finally missed being able to correct in time and ate a tree.....

Some people are just jelaous,

Other Mustang owners have been snobbish when I drive by them, and on the flipside, I had a guy in a Honda compliment my car.

i over heard a kid in a civic telling his friend thet the new mustangs meaning my car parked next to his are over priced pos's. so i simply told him that i WAS going to buy 2 honda civic's but i decided to get the mustang instead for the same price and get more horse power then both the honda's put together. that seemed to shut him up and his friend was laughing his head off at him

Tired of punk kids in Neons. Had one yesterday pull next to me, then I went to speed up to get over and he puts it to the floor. I slow down, he hits the brakes. I speed up again and he puts it to the floor. Does that stupid wing on the back do brain damage to these kids heads? Maybe too much model airplane glue holding it on!

Never take your stang to Wal-mart. Can't tell you how many times I have heard someones stang get dented or vandalized there. That's white-trash headquarters. That's why you saw those losers in a poor riced out POS that couldn't even afford to pay for the insurance on a stang.

Funny around these parts the Ricers love the new mustangs....it's the Cobra and Mach 1 guys who sneer and won't acknowledge you.

Yeah what is with that. Every time I drive past a Stang new or old I give a little wave like bikers do. But they just give a look like they hate you. Plus I love Stangs all Stangs. Why be like that. Were all in the brotherhood.

We have blue blood, wider tires, and less MPG.

I agree.

I seldom catch people with older mustangs taking a look. I will see people in all other forms of cars looking though.

Aside from a few questions and nice car comments, the most interesting thing that has happened to me so far was when a cop doing seat belt enforcement held up a long line of traffic behind me while we talked about my car.

The difference of opinions lie with the mine is better than yours syndrome which a lot '05 owners have, which is not far from the truth but it still comes out as being snobbish. Expecting people to kneel and vow as if the '05 is the golden crown of the Prince of Wales is a bit unrealistic.

Man, that was hilarious. I have to remember that line. I had a few "kids" pull up to me in a cavalier that looked like it was just on Pimp My ride. It had lamborghini (Spelling?) doors and everything. The guy starts reving his engine, fart can and all, and then says, "Can your car even light up those tires?" Light turned green and needless to say at the next light I asked him "Took you a while to catch up. Let's see you spin your tires". The guy got out of his car, walked over the passenger side and spun the "spinner". I must have been laughing too hard because he had an unimpressed look on his face. Guess when I said "ya, I guess I didn't expect anything more from that car" didn't help either.

Most of the guys driving the classics wave, some dont. I seldom get a wave back from new 05 owners. I waved to another sonic blue yesterday and he gave me a dirty look. Oh well, life goes on.

I happened to be driving along the street where all the teens in their riced out cars drive. (Hwy 100 if you know milwaukee). There were a couple of civics revving there engines at a red light. Both of them were back from the light so they couldn't do anything but make noise. Then I revved my engine. Even my 6 sounded much nicer. Both of them stopped revving their engines and the one right next to me, looked over, smiled and gave me the thumbs up.

I was very surprised by his reaction. So while you might not agree with their taste, there are some out there with riced cars who can appreciate our Mustangs.

I agree with ya, seems like many of the 05 owners seem on edge. I try to give a thumbs up every time I come across an S197.. even the six bangers I've had so many positive comments so far since Nov. from all kinds Chevy, Rice, old and young. You gotta love when Mercedes, BMW and H2 owners sit and stare at traffic lights. Like I tell my friends, this car makes the meanest, nastiest person act like a little kid when they get up close to it. Not EVERY person loves it... but they have to try real hard not to.
