Because it's black, I can't really tell if it's lowered or not. If it's not, lower it.

Also, I think you should get 19" wheels in the back and 18" in the front... if that's possible. I think that makes a HUGE difference in appearance and stance.

Get some kind of major power adder. 300 hp @ 3500 lbs is just not cutting it these days.

P.S. I think it looks great as it is. My suggests are only if you have money burning a hole in your pocket.

Well guys I've decided I'll be buying a mach1 style hood stripe. Here's a pic of what it will look like. I'm only getting the center portion as I don't want the Boss look.


I'll make sure to post pics once it's on.

 

looks like a nice subtle touch, Leo. You will be going with the Matte Black stripe I presume? Should look pretty sharp.

 

Thanks and yes it will be matte black. Additionally I'm getting the declid piece from BSM to help carry the matte black theme to the rear of the car.

The strips you ordered going to roll under the hood? Or just like its in the picture?

 

I contemplated them wrapping around the lip of the hood but I got a few opinions that made me decided against it.

1)It looks more "finished". Let's you know they're not continuing down to the bumper.

2)These pics. It doesn't look bad either way but I just decided to go this way.

Leo, you ride looks to die for...I would NOT put any stripes on it but that is just me.

Now eariler you mentioned putting the GT logos back on the side since some don't like the tribar...

First off thanks. Your car looks awesome. I think I'll be keeping the ponies for now although I do like your script idea. I'm going to try out this new stripe worst case scenario I take it off and call it a $130 experiment.

Honestly, if you like the stripes after a year or so, have them painted on. I can say that my hood paint job was money well spent. Mine has enough clearcoat on the hood that you can't even feel the blackout/pinstripe paint. Find somebody you know and trust...

I could not bring myself to do matte on the hood. I went with the gloss black to be different...

No matter what you choose, take time to make sure it is tasteful and YOU like it.

What does it need? Nothing. Except to be driven.

 

SHR louvers...

 

Black Chrome wheels.

 

Wheels (black razors, or something), and perhaps smoked headlights. For under the hood, an intercooled vortech supercharger.

 

-Lower it.
-Different louvers. Maybe you'd be interested in SHR and also putting on the quarter window trim molding from Scott Drake to eliminate the gap?
-Agent47 Grill. I like the stock grill too, but that pony is HUGE and is distracting from the looks of the front end.
