I discovered green grease all over the inside front wheel well of my front right passenger side wheel. What could this possible be? It appears to have leaked, and then the tire threw it all over the wheelwell.

The only thing there to leak grease is the wheel bearing, and that is sealed . . . or should be anyway.

As always, take it to the dealer.

Probably faulty bearing. Easily remedied, but get it to the dealership soon.

Sounds like a damaged wheel bearing seal. Easy fix.

When you go to the dealer, have the hub and bearings inspected.

Make sure they clean the grease off of the wheel, tire, inner wheel well and anything else that got "greased".

If it leaked from the inside of the rotor, have the brakes checked / cleaned too.

Let us know how it goes for you.

That is Fords optional, on demand, free undercoating. The left front should be available as an option in your near future !

Are you sure you did not run over the grease?

Went to the dealer to have it checked out, no problems. I must have run over it somehow, but I don't remember running over anything or hearing noises. Just seemed fishy to me so I took it to the dealer just in case. Saw the Ford GT they just got in, white with blue stripes. Gorgeous.
