Guys, I've decided to upgrade to DD 18x9 & 18x10 bullitts, but I can't decide on black or chrome. Any suggestions would be VERY welcome. Still trying to decide on stripes as well.

My two cents: between the two choices, I vote chrome.

Just got a new Tungsten Gray and was going to get the stock wheels when the wife told me that the polished aluminum would look a lot better. She's right - breaks up the gray nicely.

RE: stripes - IMHO two silver Shelby stripes look mighty good on these puppies!

Of course, FWIW, I'm an old guy and like that retro look.

I have black bullitts on a black car and I think that they look good. I would say that chrome would look better on your car.

 

I vote for chrome as well. And I love the stripes. My son in law and I just did the stripes on my stang last weekend. If you do stripe it, be ready for a two day job in the garage and have lots of patience. Nerve racking at times, but worth it. Some do like the clean look I know, but man those stripes really made my car jump out at you. I'm Vista Blue with metalic silver stripes. Pictures coming soon! Carl

 

I totally vote chrome, black will look very boring on that grey IMO

 

If I had to decide between black or chrome, I'd say chrome for sure.

Stripes? I would go with white on a mineral grey, but I'm biased...

Black stripes black wheels. IMO

 

No chrome! Go black, but only if your stripes are also black. I'd just black out the hood (awesome with that shaker!) and taillight panel instead of black LeMans stripes, or people will think you're just another Eleanor copy. (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's been done). That shaker says Mach1, so that's the theme I'd go with. Nice car, BTW.

 

Your car looks nice now. Put the money into go-fast mods!
