I removed the burned out bulb and installed a LED. It is 12V across the terminals. Took about 5 minutes.

Just noticed my car has this problem too. Its just the 3 icons that are supposed to light up, correct? Or does the white line on the switch itself light up as well (like the A/C *****)?

Once tou have the bulb size you should check out this site: I ordered my LEDs through them and they have been great, cheap prices and awesome customer service as well. https://www.superbrightleds.com/led_prods.htm

So Ford will be able to provide this bulb at the dealership if I dont want to go the LED route?
