Having second thoughts about Alloy

Well, originally I liked the thought of getting Alloy Metalic as my paint color, but now I'm having second thoughts. I figured since it is a new color, that it would be cool because there would be less of them. Now that pictures are starting to surface, I'm afraid that its too dark for me. I'm getting the dark charcoal interior also. The car is going to be sooooo dark looking. I know I would still be happy with it, but I want it to be perfect.

I ordered my car on 6/9. Do you think they would let me change it? I'm leaning towards the Tungsten grey which is more my style.

Or...should I let it ride and be the first kid on the block with Alloy?

I like Alloy better personally, but my dad and I rented a Tungsten one this weekend, and I must admit its pretty sexy as well. Dark is good homie. Do whatever you desire, you'll be smiling with the car either way.

OK...I feel better now. I found some new *spy* pics on one of the forums here and it looks great! Not as black looking as some of the earlier photo's that I saw. **PHEW** I feel better now.

I ordered my '07 on 06-09 (my b-day) as well! It's my understanding that mine won't be built until the last week of June at the earliest, so there's probably still time to change your order if you wanted to. Any changes will delay your production date though.

VVVROOM - I had the same concern abou the Alloy finish being too dark. However, I saw an Alloy next to a Black a few days ago and the Alloy is very discernible from the Black. I really like the Alloy and it's bumped Tungsten from the top color spot for me.

If you like stripes, I think Alloy might look really good with black striping. A very dark, yet cool look.

That's great. A number of Alloy pics have surfaced, and the more I see it, the more I like it. Tungsten used to me my favorite color to. I think the Alloy would look cool with Tungsten or Silver stripes.

Yeah, I think Tungsten or Silver would look good for stripe colors. I think if you search around the internet, you can find a few pictures of some new Mustangs in Alloy with Silver or Tungsten stripes. I can't recall where I may have seen them, though.
