Has anyone received a VIN number yet ?

I have been following the board for a while, but this is my 1st post. I've gained a lot of good advice and used the order codes provided here to spec and order my vehicle... an '05 Satin Silver GT with Red Int. So far the only status from Ford has been 'New Order / Clean Unscheduled'. Has anyone actually received a schedule date and vin ?

I believe its been said that VINs are generated as the car actually goes on the assembly line...
Now as to schedule, I don't know...

Orders that are actually scheduled to be built get vin #s within days.

What about these people that have numbers? Are theirs fake? Or, have they already been schedule? What gives?

A number of us have full Vin # 'S. No scheduled dates yet on mine. last digits 100748.

You gotta read the threads man, ive already posted a thread labed GOT A VIN...yes i got a vin, ill write a reply on GOT A VIN so it pops up on the 1st page again so you can read it.
