After installing my macs, Im curious if the reason why one of them is crooked is because if the hangers. Has anyone run into a similar problem and had to use these...

No just loosen the mid pipe clamp then adjust your tips and retighten. No reason to waste money on new hangers.

If its crooked meaning its rotated a bit off looking from the back, then the mid pipe needs to be loosened/adjusted. If it's off as far as up/down, the hangars on the muffler themselves can be tweaked pretty easilly-they often get a little bent in shipping.

its a case where the right tip hangs lower than the left.

I have tried to adjust its position on the midpipe, but if it is in a position anywhere other than where is now, it is impossible to get it toght enough to prevent it from sliding off.

Hmmm... Interesting. I had no issues with my Macs. I did it just like leo said. I also had somebody "holding" the exhaust tip where they thought it was centered when I was tightening the hangers.

If the left is not hitting the body, then reach up in there and try to bend the rear wire hanger down(towards the ground) a smidge on the right one to bring it up towards the body.
