The dealership here in Longview apparently will be $10,000 over MSRP.......and I just found out today that the waiting list is 19 customers long.

My Dad's friend Tom paid $52k
A salesman at the local Ford dealer said they sold their Shelby for $44k CASH. I guess the guy who bought it, is a local Millionaire who always buys his cars from there, so they cut him a deal.

One in Wichita, Kansas, went for MSRP I THINK! Went to the dealer one day and saw a black shelby on the showroom floor with just the window sticker in the window (45,000). Did not mention anything about ADM anywhere on the car (well didn't look under the car so can't say anywhere haha). I'm hoping it wasn't just an ordered car where they decided to throw it on the showroom until the customer came and picked it up because the car was unlocked. If it was my car I wouldnt want a bunch of strangers sitting in it! Well, a buddy of mine went in the next week to pick up his 07 GT and he said it was GONE! I never had any problems with this dealer and seems pretty friendly. So perhaps they were a RARE dealer where they sold there car for MSRP?

Red one in San Antonio, sticker was 43K and change. When I talked to the salesman, he told me that even though it wasn't listed anywhere on the car they had "fair market valued" it at 55K.
They also had a dark blue GT40 sitting next to it. Sticker was 166K, same guy told me that they were "fair market valuing" the car at 266K.

One of the dealers I shopped at had a white one with blue stripes in the showroom. The dealer told me they were going to keep it for awhile because it was the only one in the area (though a few had been sold to people outside the area). He said they were asking 15k over sticker for this one, 10k over for the next one they get and probably sticker by the fourth or fifth one. Funny thing though, I saw it on the road the next day and once more a couple weeks later. Cant imagine they are letting a salesman put miles on it, so they must have sold it.

Stopped by my dealership in Travelers Rest, SC yesterday to express an interest in the 08 Bullitt, and to ask about the Shelby.
My salesman said that they had sold a vert for $20K over sticker, and that they had another (a coupe I think) allocated but not sold for $18K over sticker.

Funny, but I though Z06's had ADM's too. Wait, they do. To be fair I'm not trying to pick on you here but I am surprised by those who complain about the GT's and GT500's ADM all the while happily comparing these to the price of vehicles that typically have ADM's of their own. Does this excuse the GT500's ridiciulous markup? Of course not. But we are hardly rowing the boat alone here and some of the vehicles folks act as though you could easily buy for these prices aren't actually so easy to buy for those prices. Z06's have gotten past their ADM days to some extent at this point, partially due to a used Z06 market that is growing surprisingly quickly as well as being due to the fact that the Z06 has simply been aroung longer at this point.
