Has anyone else...
...Had their trip odometer reset on them? On long trips, I like to use my trip odometer to keep track of gas mileage and on a couple of different instances now, I have noticed the trip odometer resetting itself after the car was turned off with about 5-20 miles on the odometer... I get gas, head over to get a bite to eat before heading out of town and the mileage from getting gas to stopping to get a bite to eat dissapears and the odometer is set back to zero again... It's not a huge deal, but I have no idea why it's doing that! Anyone else have the same thing happen to them?

I've had it happen twice I think, exactly as you describe. Fill up, reset. Drive 1-2 miles, turn car off. Turn car back on later, mileage and trip meter is set back to 0. Very strange.

Okay, so I am not going crazy... LOL! I thought maybe I had reset it by acident or something and not remembered, but there are a few of you that have also had this problem... Hmmm... I wonder what causes it? Normal driving around town, I haven't paid attention, cause I rarely use this feature, but I bet it has happened more than just the couple times I have noticed it... It's not a huge deal, but it is wierd none-the-less...

I have the 1000 mile bug too
You may just hit it by accident, it only takes a feather touch to reset it. I reset everything after fill-ups and once in a while toggling through the menu I blip the reset button by accident.

Oh, an ha ha...
I didn't see that at first... Yeah, I have that bug too... What ever happened to quality control!
That's what I thought, but I am 99% sure I didn't touch the button again... Usually, after I get gas (at the gas station, lol), I reset the meter, switch it back to AVG MPG and don't touch it again... I have my read-out on dual line, so I have no reason to touch the buttons after I reset it...

That happens to me on about every fifth fillup. I keep track of all my mileage and expenses on a spreadsheet (OK, that's the accountant in me ).
I go to the gas station on the way home from work. It's 5.2 miles from my house. Since I alternate cars each day, it sits for a day without being started. When I turn it on, the trip resets to 0.0. I thought it may have had something to do with not being run for a day, but if others are having problems, than I don't know what it is.
I've also noticed that sometimes, the trip meter only reads 4.6 miles by the time I get home. The odometer seems to be fine, but the trip meter is not accurate.

It's happened three times with me, and I only have 7900 miles on my car. I thought I was crazy too. And I know i didn;t touch the reset button. I could never figure out what was causing it. hasn't happened in a long time now...
