sorry a little late on this my birthday was actually Sep. 14th but we got the pics done today and I just had to share these. My parents knowing how much of a stangaholic I am and how much I LOVE my stang surprised me with a very special cake.

and of course one of me. I have to tell ya I had a hard time eating this cake I didnt want to hurt my car . But now I guess I can actually say that my stang tastes as good as she looks

Yeah ducktail is asap - maybe this weekend - hey, did you use adhesive promotor not just on the ducktail itself before you mounted the tape, but on the CAR as well before you did the tape?? I think it actually says to do that in the instructions (?)

 

I actually did not use promoter on the car. My body shop said not to use it on the car, because I asked them the same question. But as you know, there are two sides to everything. They didn't say it would damage the paint... but acted more like it wasn't necessary. If it says in the ducktail instructions though, I would think it's ok. I don't think you need it as long as you clean the car really well with some naptha (sp?) cleaner. If you do decide to put it on the car, make sure you go a decent amount inside the outside of where the ducktail will sit. You don't want to accidentally put that chemical promoter on any exposed surface.
