Guy who canceled order
Has anyone heard any more about that putz who got an order scheduled from ISELLFORD too quickly and had to cancel? Man, what a loser. I wonder if he ever got his car ordered again.
Easy on the details, Steinbeck....

Wow that is harsh !
Some people count on the waiting period (Me for one). I planned the waiting period into my budget. I don't have an endless bank account and plan accordingly. The waiting period is giving me time to do various things before my beauty arrives.
Little extra money for down payent, sell other car, etc.
I can fully understand how and why that would happen.
OK Done with my rant.

Same with me and I couldn't agree with you more.
I needed to wait until my lease was over. I was glad my dealer worked with me to adjust my priority and delivery date.

Sorry guys, jester alert.
That “putz†is me!
That was just my way of posting my ’06 is finally on order. I had to wait since ’04 to even be in the position to be able to wait for a car to actually be on order.
I remember being taken to task by some (when ISELLFORD posted he had to cancel an order that was scheduled too quickly) for ordering a car before I had finances lined up.
This GT is costing me $105,000. 25k for the car, 80k for the house I bought next door because it has a garage - our house has the garage converted into an extra room. Well, a little bit of humor here too. I didn’t buy the house just for the garage - we have been waiting for that house to go on the market for many years. We’re going to make a two-house compound for us and our daughter with grandchild. But it does have a garage for me.
I’m traveling from Indy to ISELLFORD’s location to get the car. I didn’t want to make the trip mid-winter, and I needed to do some garage remodeling to get it ready. That’s why I planned the four-month wait, but was surprised when the waiting period was as low as 4 weeks.
BTW - I highly recommend buying from ISELLFORD (Reynolds’s Ford, East Moline, IL). Can’t say enough about his help. Well worth the 400 mile trip.
BTWBTW - My insurance quote was ONLY $37/6 months higher than my present 2000 V6. My agent said they were getting good reports on the safety of the new Mustangs and the rates were going down.

LoL. This reminds me of my Mustang purchase. My old Jeep Wrangler finally died. I replaced part after part, and on Thanksgiving, after thinking I had it fixed, it quit on me again after rolling an impressive 30 yards down the street. So, the next day I said screw it, and went and bought my Mustang. (I was planning on saving up a good down payment, and getting one next summer.)
I still haven't got the Jeep repaired. Part of it is I'm afraid I'm going to find a blown fuse or something cheap and simple like that. So, I often joke with friends and family about eventually finding that $24,000 fuse!
Oh, and good 'troll drill simulation'!
