I just test drove the GT! What can I say, SWEET!!!!! I also have a friend at working at a plant in Detroit who is giving me the X plan hookup.

Bad news is Dealer A tells me it might not be until August/September before I can get one. It might also end up getting an '06, in which case, the price will most likely be higher.

Where Dealer B, (different location of course) was telling me 10-12 weeks.

Who do I believe?
Dealer A: No deposit, no promises.
My next move is to go back to Dealer B and tell him what A said. I need to show the wife the Red one.

I think I will go do that right now. I let ya'll know.

As soon as I decided on color (red or silver) I'm gonna get in line via one of the two closet dealers.

Any advice? Tips on allocation?

It all depends on the dealers allocation vs existing orders. Ask the dealer what allocation and existing orders he has and you should get a fair estimate of a delivery date. Remember, if your order gets priority 12, you are first in line. Good luck!

Cool. I saw Dealer B and they still insist that they have 10-14 week delivery and open alocations. I think I will order this week.
