The pic in the sun looks better, I'll reserve judgement until I can have a look in person.

 

Is dark candy appple red a metal flake paint like redfire was? It's seems to be kind of rosy in color almost. I need to see it in person to make an offical decision. As for the rims, They look great polished or one color but I don't like the grey. Maybe on alloy or white they will look better......Not a fan

 

I like them. The current fanblades are painted silver where these are painted charcoal.

By the way, we have seen these style wheels before. Looks like Ford one-upped the new Camaro !

 

Yes, the new Candy Apple red is metallic. I posted some pics of the paint samples under "candy Apple red".

I think it will look better in the sunlight. Those pics were taken on a overcast day.....

 

Way to go Ford. All of a sudden those rims are looking better.

The color was used on Focus for a few years as Sangria Red. The Redfire definitely looks better, has a much deeper look to it.

 

Dosn't look like any candy apple red I've seen! Real candy apple will look just like a kandied apple that you would get at a fair....

I saw it in person today, right next to torch red and redfire. Yes, of course it has metallic in it. Don't know what I was thinking there.

To me, it looks just like redfire, but a few shades more red. Nothing too exciting if you ask me. It was sunny, and it still didn't "pop".

 

More red is good!

It does look very close to redfire though.......
