Grille on factory hood scoop

Has anyone taken this off of their factory hood scoop. Got the scoop off the car no problem. Removed the three bolts that look like they hold the grille on but the **** thing won't budge.

I'm not trying to make it functional. I bought vinyl stripes from Baltimore Street Mods and their instructions say to remove the scoop's grille to put the stripes on it.

Thanks

Dave

Same thing here. I tried, but finally gave up and striped it with it on. I'm pretty sure it's got two sided tape holding it on. I was to scared of breaking it, so I gave up. I had to trim the stripes with the X-acto knife right in front of it. That's an area that isn't real visable anyway. That scoop was the probably the toughest part to stripe. Ended up letting it sit in the house overnight, then using the hairdryer and smoothing out wrinkles for a couple hours the next morning. It's not perfect, and I'm not totally happy with it, but it was the best I could do and doesnt look to bad. Good Luck, Carl
